Comansa 16LC185-8t Crane Overview and Specifications

The Comansa 16LC185-8t is an easy-to-erect tower crane. It has a max lift capacity of 8 tons (7.3 t), a main boom max length of 213 ft. (65 m), and a max jib length of 213 ft. (65 m). A major difference between this crane and others in its class is the fact it doesn’t have an apex element. The first counter-jib is simply installed on the rotating part while all others are installed on the section before it. The first counter-jib section has a unique compact design that makes transportation a lot easier.

The Comansa 16LC185-8t comes standard with an Effi-Plus lifting mechanism that improves the speed at which loads are lowered and raised by up to 70 percent. This increases the productivity of lifting operations by up to 29 percent without using additional energy. It also comes standard with a panoramic cab that’s loaded with lots of accessories operators will appreciate. Some of these include: tinted windows, a fire extinguisher, a CD/MP3 player, thermal and acoustical insulation, a deluxe operator seat, and ergonomic crane controls. The standard cab can be upgraded to a Panoramic XL version that allows for additional features like a mini-fridge and microwave.
