Grove RT9150E Crane Overview and Specifications

The Grove RT9150E is a powerful hydraulic crane. It has a maximum lift capacity of 150 tons (136 t), a 197 ft. (60 m) main boom max length, and a max jib length of 59 ft. (18 m). The RT9150E is driven by a Turbocharged, six-cylinder Cummins QSL 8.3L diesel engine that generates up to 320 (239 kW) and a 100-galgallon (379 L) fuel tank.

It comes standard with removable outriggers, which make it easier to transport, and a TWIN-LOCK™ boom pinning system which uses only one telescope cylinder to extend the boom, maximizing the system’s capacities by eliminating weight inside the extended boom. It also comes with a Graphic Display” load moment and anti-two block system that comes with audio-visual warning and control lever lockout.

The full vision, all-steel cab can be tilted 20 degrees, allowing easy access to essential components. In addition, the cab is fitted with acoustical lining and safety glass. Other features include: a hot water heater, air conditioning, dual cab-mounted work lights, and sliding rear and side windows.

If you’re interested in stretching this mobile crane’s abilities even further, there are a number of options available. These include: an auxiliary lighting and convenience package, a heavy lift counterweight package, boom extension inserts, and an ECOS event recorder.
