Liebherr LR 1130 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Liebherr LR1130 is a powerful crawler crane. It has a max lift capacity of 151 tons (137 t), a main boom max length of 262 ft. (80 m), and a max jib length of 258 ft. (79 m). It’s powered by a Liebherr D 936 L A6 engine that generates up 362 (270 kW) and a massive 219-galgallon (830 L) fuel tank.

It features a cutting-edge crane control system that is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, electromagnetic interference, and vibrations. It also comes with proportional control for all crane movements, allowing simultaneous actions. The crane is controlled with two joysticks: one for controlling the winch I and the boom, the other for winch II and swing control.

The Liebherr LR1130 also comes with a self-assembly system that makes deployment a breeze. The crane can be raised — and set on solid support plates — on its own by four hydraulic jacks, allowing the low loader to be driven away from underneath the raised upper carriage. Besides its impressive capabilities, the LR1130 also comes with a loaded, spacious cab that is glazed all-around, increasing the operator’s view of the worksite. Other features in the cab include: air conditioning, interior and exterior lighting, and a comfortable operator’s seat.
