The Terex/Peiner SK 415 – 20 is the smallest hammerhead crane from the SK series but is still a powerhouse when it comes to lifting. This tower crane has a maximum lift capacity of 20 metric tons (22 U.S. tons). The maximum length that the jib extends to is 80 m (263 ft.), and the lifting capacity while at maximum jib length is 2.3 metric tons (2.5 U.S. tons). The crane has numerous operational jib and tower configurations which can be set at various lengths with optional mast inserts.
The SK 415 – 20 power supply uses 480v/60hz with no transformer needed. The crane can be set up using either a concrete foundation or an undercarriage tower base. The hoisting winch is a SR WB 66 – 100/4F that comes with 520m hoist rope. Transfer mats can be used to combine elements of different cranes, which uses the benefits of different systems for the exact demand of each job.
The Terex/Peiner SK415-20 has Terex’s new EVO15 cab. Its new design increases visibility and operator comfort as well as offers simple to use controls. An all stainless-steel electronics panel is located in the cabin platform providing excellent protection from different weather conditions. The joystick controls offer smooth control of all operations which gives full oversight despite height or the weather conditions. And a full-color multi-language display screen gives data and feedback helping the operator lift and move things around easily.
