BIGGE ADDS 600 TON DEMAG MOBILE HYDRAULIC CRANE TO ITS FLEET!

SAN LEANDRO, Calif., December 12, 2003- Bigge Crane and Rigging Co., a Division of the Bigge Group, has added a 600 ton Demag AC 500-1 to its crane and equipment fleet.  The AC500-1 is the largest all terrain crane in the Western United States.

The enhanced Demag ovaloid boom design ensures excellent lifting capacities.  The crane boasts the shortest 8-axle crane on the market with a carrier length of just 56’3”.  Star-type outriggers give enhanced stability.  The crane has quick erection times and optimal transport weights for all configurations.  Bigge has a 295’ luffing jib with Superlift offering enormous capacities and working radius up to 341 feet.
