Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

In this very critical outside sales position you will solicit, estimate, manage and bid on jobs within your assigned territory.

You will be expected to:

  • Seek out new construction projects and customers with a "defined territory"
  • Provide accurate job estimating
  • Learn union contracts and develop relationships
  • Sell both operated and maintained "bare" rental crane services to those projects and customers
  • Project management (profitability for projects in territory)
  • Responsible for meeting your territories predetermined profit/revenue quota

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem solving skills
  • Efficient with time management
  • Self-starter/motivated to exceed all expectations
  • High School diploma (4 year degree preferred)
  • A minimum of 3 years in the construction industry is required
  • Experience in the crane industry is nice-to-have but not a requirement
  • You must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently
  • Experience with the operation of a variety of office equipment and MS Office (windows/word/excel)
  • Enjoy being a contributing member in a high-performance team environment
