Grove GMK3060 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Grove GMK3060 is an agile mobile all-terrain crane that comes standard with a 66 ton (60 t) maximum lift capacity, a 141 ft. (43 m) main boom max length, and a max jib length of 49.2 ft. (15 m).

It features a cutting-edge crane control system which offers an operator-friendly interface which comes with two full graphic displays, ergonomically designed joysticks, and a jog dial for easier data input. The 3060 also has a state-of-the-art MEGATRAK™ suspension system which is considered to be one of the best off-road drivelines on the market. The all-wheel steer system and independent suspension allows the wheels to stay grounded at all times, ensuring weights and stresses are not continually transferred between axles.

All these impressive features are powered by a water-cooled and Turbocharged, six-cylinder Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA diesel engine, that is capable of generating up to 355 (265 kW) and a ZF, AS Tronic automatic transmission system. The Grove GMK3060 also hosts an impressive two-man aluminum operator cab. It comes standard with pneumatically suspended seats, an engine-based hot water heater, and complete instrumentation and driving controls. The cab tilts forward for easy access to the engine and other important components.

The GMK3060’s capabilities can be stretched even further with the utilization of optional upgrades. These include: a stainless steel exhaust system with spark arrestor, data logger, strobe lights, trailer hitch, engine shutdown valve, work lights for outriggers, and an engine independent diesel cab heater with engine pre-heater.
