Grove GMK5115 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Grove GMK5115 is a mobile all-terrain crane with a lot of versatility. It comes standard with a 115 ton (104 t) max lift capacity, 197 ft. (60 m) main boom max length, and a fixed jib length of 56 ft. (17 m). It’s powered by a Turbocharged, eight-cylinder Mercedes type OM 502 LA diesel engine which produces up to 510 (380 kW).

The GMK5115 comes with a state-of-the-art hydropneumatic MEGATRAK suspension which features an automatic leveling system for highway travel. There are also a host of features inside the cab that operators will certainly appreciate. The all-aluminum cab comes with acoustical lining and tinted safety glass. And it holds a suspended operator seat, a hot water heater, and ergonomically designed controls which are integrated into the armrest.

It also has a cutting-edge, fully-electronic crane control system. These controls are integrated with the LMI and engine management system. The crane controls — and all other electronic features — are powered by the standard 24-volt electric system.

For those looking to get a bit more out of the 5115, there are several options available. Some of these include: air conditioning for the cab, a working range limiter, drive and steer control for the superstructure, an engine independent propane gas cab heater, and a work light which is mounted on top of the base structure.
