Grove RT600E Crane Overview and Specifications

The Grove RT600E comes standard with a max lift capacity of 45 tons (40 t), a 105 ft. (32 m) main boom max length, and a max jib length of 51 ft. (15.5 m). The Grove RT600E is powered by a water-cooled and Turbocharged six-cylinder Cummins B5.9TAA diesel engine which generates up to 173 (129 kW).

The special 2‑axle carrier is made from high-strength steel, and it comes with integral towing and tie down lugs. The front axle is rigid mounted to the frame, while the rear axle is pivot mounted.

The outriggers consist of four hydraulically-telescoping beams with inverted’ jacks and 610 mm diameter outrigger pads, and they can be independently controlled horizontally and vertically from the crane’s operator cab.

The vanized-steel operator’s cab is acoustically treated, and it hosts a deluxe seat that comes with armrest-integrated crane controls and an engine-dependent hot water heater. It also comes with ergonomically designed instrumentation and crane operating controls, which reduce operator fatigue, and steer/drive controls.

For those looking to get a bit more out of this nimble crane, there are several options available. These include: cross axle differential locks, aluminum decking, pump disconnect, and a rear pintle hook.
