Grove TMS540 Crane Overview and Specifications
The Grove TMS540 is a truck mounted hydraulic crane with a 40 ton capacity and a full-power four-section boom length of up to 90 feet, with a telescopic swingaway extension of 54 feet. Powered by a 3126B Catepillar six-cylinder Turbocharged 300 engine, it has a state-of-the-art suspension and shock absorber system, making for a comfortable ride, even at its top speed of 65 mph. It is available in 6×4 and 6×6 drive configurations.
The TMS540 sets up quickly, and has a host of other features which enhance its usefulness and flexibility at the job site. Grove currently produces the TMS540E, which adds new features and upgrades over the previous model.
