The Tadano TR-150XL‑4 is an excellent hydraulic crane for rough terrains. It has a max lift capacity of 15 tons (13.7 t), a main boom max length of 78 ft. (23 m), and a max jib length of 12 ft. (4 m). The Tadano TR-150XL‑4 is driven by a four-cylinder, Turbocharged and after-cooled Cummins QSB3.9 – 30TAA diesel engine that is capable of generating up to 135 (101 kW) and a 50-galgallon (189 L) fuel tank that is fitted on the right side of the carrier. It also comes standard with a fully automated transmission system, with six forward and two reverse speeds.

It comes with a steel, one-man operator cab that is fitted with tinted safety glass windows and sliding door access. Other features of the cab include: air conditioning, a hot-water cab heater, a tilt-telescoping steering wheel, an adjustable control lever, a three-way adjustable operator seat, and an engine throttle knob.

For those looking to push this rough terrain crane even further, there are a bunch of options available to do just that. Some of these include: drum rotation indicators, an auxiliary hoist that comes with a grooved drum, an auxiliary lifting sheave, and 11.8 ft. (3.6 m) or 18 ft. (5.5 m) box jibs with 5° , 25° or 45° pinned offsets and self storing pins.
