Terex Quadstar 1065 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Terex Quadstar 1065 is a rough terrain crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 71 tons. The maximum boom length is 114 feet and the maximum jib length is 65 feet.

The boom of the Quadstar 1065 is made up of four section. It has a maximum luffing angle of 80 degrees and a minimum luffing angle of ‑2 degrees. It can be completely raised in 45 seconds and completely lowered in 60, and it takes 45 seconds for a full boom extension and 46 seconds for a full boom retraction.

The Quadstar 1065 is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 Stage IIIA engine. This Tier III compliant engine has 6 cylinders and is rated at 219 horsepower. The 6×6 transmission system is fitted with a torque converter and the ability to control the crane with two-wheel drive in high range mode and four-wheel drive in low range mode. The hydraulic system is made up of one double piston pump and one double gear pump.
