Bigge specializes in refinery maintenance, turnaround, and shutdowns. With our qualified personnel, extensive rental fleet, and engineering support from our heavy lifting and transportation division, Bigge has built a relationship with the refineries by our commitment to safety and dedication to complete all these projects on schedule. In 2009, Bigge successfully completed two simultaneous maintenance shutdowns at the refineries in Northern California, operating over 75 cranes around-the-clock for 30 days.

In addition to wind turbine erection, Bigge has a long history of crane rental for renewable resource energy projects like hydroelectric plant maintenance, biofuel, and geothermal projects. We offer Operated and Maintained rental on the West Coast, with nationwide bare rental service.

Bigge provides cranes on a bare rental or operated and maintained basis for jobs within the civil infrastructure and industrial sectors. We also service the industrial mining, pulp and paper, and aerospace industries. Bigge rents a fleet of over 350 cranes out of 25 locations.

Bigge's Tower Crane Division provides all of your tower crane needs under one roof. Customers in West Coast states can take advantage of complete operated and maintained rental, including assembly and dismantling. Nationwide, bare rental is available. Bigge also rents hoists, climbing cages, foundation anchors, extensions and specialized accessories necessary to complete any job.

Bigge's experience and equipment have made us a leader in crane-intensive HVAC services. Our Receive – Store – Haul – Set package includes an electronic inventory system, and secure onsite storage with access, transportation, and crane service.

Bigge has over 16 acres of outdoor and 38,000 sq. ft. of indoor storage space available for secure equipment storage at our San Leandro, California facility. Our warehouse is ideal for HVAC equipment, generators, special alloy enclosures, motors and transformers, and accommodates trucks, flatbeds and oversized loads. Rigging and transportation are always available. We also have several other secure storage yards nationwide.
