Bigge provides extensive service and support at all stages.

FLEET ASSESSMENT and EVALUATION

We assess your fleet and each individual crane to determine the optimal filter. Among the factors we consider are

  • How is each crane used?
  • Do the cranes come back to the yard every day or stay on the jobsite?
  • Is the crane capable of being plugged in each day?
  • What are the exhaust/gas temperature cycles?
  • How clear is the exhaust smoke?

Based on this information, our trained and certified technicians are able to determine which filter is the best fit for each crane.

INSTALLATION and TESTING

To meet the CARB regulations, every filter must be installed by a certified technician. Our certified professional staff is fully mobile – we will go to where the crane is, whether in the yard or on the jobsite, to install the filter. After installation and testing, we will provide any necessary documentation to get your cranes certified as CARB compliant.

MAINTENANCE

Another part of Bigge’s commitment to service and support is our filter cleaning service. At regular intervals, we will clean your filters and dispose of the waste in an ecologically certified manner. The waste produced by every emission control system is hazardous and requires the crane owner to create and maintain manifests for its removal and disposal. At Bigge, we do all the required paperwork for you.

WARRANTY

Every Cleaire system placed into service carries an "end-cone to end-cone" warranty* for:

  • On-Road: 5 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first
  • Off-Road: 5 years or 4,200 hours, whichever comes first

This includes progressive damage to the engine, meaning, if one of our systems causes an engine to fail, you are covered. We are particularly proud of the fact that after millions of hours of operation, Cleaire has not had a single claim for progressive engine damage.

Warranty service, parts and labor are provided by local Cleaire authorized and trained dealers, not an off-shore "800 number." Cleaire understands up-time and what it means to your business.
