Bigge is committed to get the job done and has established nationwide long term contracts with refineries and petrochemical facilities, where we are the resident heavy transportation and heavy lift contractor. Bigge flexibly joins forces with refinery personnel to develop unique and economical approaches to perform various tasks required during routine daily maintenance work and major turnaround execution.
Bigge crews have worked at Chevron, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Tesoro, Valero, Tosco, Honeywell, and Dow Chemical, providing both turnaround and daily maintenance support. Bigge consistently wins safety awards from these customers with the most demanding of safety cultures.
Additional Bigge refinery qualifications include one of the largest crane fleets in the Western U.S., DISA system enrolled personnel, BATC training, CCO trained operators and emergency support.
Bigge has been selected by major refineries and contractors to provide services for the construction of major production and capital improvement units.
Bigge has received heavy component equipment from heavy lift delivery ships; barged or over-the-road transported equipment to destinations; moved large vessels within the confines of congested, operating refineries; lifted and set major vessels, hydrocrackers, reactors, equipment, and pipe modules. Bigge provides engineering, management, supervision, craft and equipment services under fixed price performance or time and expense, and bare equipment rental contracts.
