Bigge Sets 24 HRSG Modules at California Power Plant
Bigge has recently completed setting 24 HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) modules at the Tracy Combined Cycle Power Plant in Sparks, Nevada. Bigge had three cranes on site for the duration of the project to set the 350,000 lb. HRSG modules.
Bigge used its Manitowoc 2250 crawler crane equipped with a MAX-ER 2000 to do the hoisting of the modules. Also on site was a Liebherr LR1280 crawler crane used to tail the units and an American 165 truck crane for general hoisting.
