At this year’s annual Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) Conference, Bigge’s dedication and commitment to safety in the workplace was recognized via achieving the 2008 Safety Award. The SC&RA has over 1,500 members worldwide and it is gratifying to be classified as one of the safest crane companies in the world.

In 2007 Bigge performed more man hours than any one of our Northern California competitors without a lost time injury and has achieved a current Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of .48%.

To sponsor safety in the workplace with our customers, Bigge provides crane safety training at our headquarters in San Leandro, CA. We can accommodate large groups and are currently building a brand new state-of-the-art training facility that will open this summer.
