Bigge Celebrates Low Experience Modification Rating (EMR) of .48 at Summer Safety Meeting
Bigge held its Annual Summer Safety Meeting and B.B.Q. this month and celebrated our most recent Workers’ Compensation Experience Modification Rating of .48, which classifies Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. as currently having the lowest EMR of any major crane and rigging company in Northern California.
"Our Ironworkers, Operating Engineers, Teamsters and Project Managers have worked hard to achieve this incredible milestone and are to be congratulated! Their commitment and dedication to Bigge’s core value of "Safety First" has raised the bar for all crane, rigging and heavy transportation companies with whom we compete", said Jim Coenen, Bigge Safety Administrator.
Our guest speaker, Trenton Cross, Public Affairs Officer with the California Highway Patrol provided our employees with a compelling (and lively) overview of motor vehicle traffic safety. His presentation was welcomed by an audience of approximately 100 Bigge craft workers.
