Bigge recently performed an emergency job for the Oakdale and South San Joaquin Irrigation District, lifting out the Beardsley Spillway Bridge.

Due to recent heavy rainfall, the water flow from the Friant Dam was greater than normal, potentially washing out the Beardley Spillway Bridge. A Grove GMK6350 was used for its maneuverability and capacity capabilities, as the job site was difficult to access and provided a limited setup area. The 350 ton All Terrain crane lifted the 38,000 pound bridge section flawlessly due to intense pre-planning and an experienced crew. Once the water resides we will place the bridge back into place in late February 2017.
