Scope:
Bigge as subcontractor to Brown & Root / Ebasco performed the following nuclear power plant steam system new plant construction work involving heavy lift and heavy transportation. Bigge handled the steam turbine generator and reactor pressure vessel internals.
- Engineered unique solutions to the lifts and transportation
- Using gantry lifted the steam turbine generator from barges at Site barge slip
- Trans-loaded to Bigge crawler transporters for on site travel
- Using gantry set the generator on the turbine pedestal deck
