Liebherr LTF 1060-4.1 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Liebherr LTF 1060−4.1 is a hydraulic truck crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 66.15 tons. The maximum boom length is 131 feet and the maximum jib length is 52 feet.

The boom of the Liebherr LTF 1060−4.1 is made up of 1 base section and 4 telescopic sections that are all hydraulically extendable. The frame of the Liebherr LTF 1060−4.1 is made up of three parts, a carrier frame, an intermediate frame, and a superstructure frame. The carrier frame is a four axle undercarriage made by SCANIA. The intermediate and superstructure frames are both made by Liebherr and are constructed of torsion-resistant, all welded, high tensile structural steel. The intermediate frame is connected to the carrier frame by a hollow steel profile section and the superstructure is connected to the intermediate frame by a 3 row roller bearing.

The engine of the superstructure is 4‑cylinder diesel engine made by Liebherr. This engine is rated at 175 horsepower and can complete any lift thrown at it. The hydraulic system is made up of one variable display axial piston pump and one gear type pump. The hydraulic system also has open hydraulic circuits with electronic load sensing in order to take a variable out of the hands of the operator and allows them to focus on completing lifts.

The cab has all mod cons including a LICCON2 safe load indicator and other features to ensure the safety of the operator and those around him or her.
