Terex T 560-1 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Terex T 560 – 1 is a telescopic truck crane capable of moving quickly from one job site to another with a traveling speed of 65 mph. Taking on projects where larger cranes can’t fit this truck crane comes with an outrigger system designed to provide stability and a small footprint.

The T 560 – 1 has a max. lifting capacity of 54 metric tons (60 U.S. tons). The main boom extends out 33.5 m (110 ft) long. The maximum tip height with jib is 51.6 m (169 ft). Made with a full synchronous boom design, the four-section boom is designed so that it optimizes strength and delivers performance for high lift capacities at all lift radii.

This truck crane features a turbocharged Detroit Diesel DD13 diesel engine with a 100-gallon fuel tank, pushing 450 HP/1,800 rpm. Air-ride suspension helps smooth out road surfaces, increasing comfort, and minimizing wear and tear on the crane. Utilizing optimized transmission/​axle combinations to deliver the torque needed for hillclimbing ease. The truck uses a hydraulic system, a three-pump system simultaneously provides independent flow to the boom, hoist, and slew drive. The slew drive gives the crane 360 mobility.

The cabin is ergonomically designed with spacious viewing and comfortable operation. Fully proportional electrohydraulic joysticks provide precise control of all hydraulic functions. Foot pedals are used for the swing brake, boom telescope, and engine rpm. The upper cab can be configured with heat and air conditioning to fit the needs of your work environment. Equipped with an operator aid that provides the ability for the operator to define limits for boom rotation and height. A warning alarm sounds if the boom moves outside the defined work area.
