Zoomlion RT80 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Zoomlion RT80 is an 82.5 ton rough terrain crane. The maximum length of the boom is 126 feet and the maximum length of the jib is 56 feet.

The boom is formed, and created with a high yield steel. High yield steel allows for less material to be used to lift the same weight. By using a lighter material, shipping is easier. The high quality products used don’t stop at the boom; Zoomlion chooses Axletech for the RT80’s axles. Axletech has years of experience in the mobile crane field and is known as one of the most reliable axles in the industry.

The RT80 is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 Tier-III compliant powerhouse, which gives it the ability to finish any job you throw at it. Zoomlion also employs Dana transmissions. Dana is a leader in the industry, always employing new technology to make their transmissions as safe and as efficient as possible. The cab is created with the operator in mind. It is created with all steel and safety glass in order to protect the operator. The Load Moment Indicator allows for an operator to know exactly what is going on in his crane. It gives the status of every piece of his crane and allows him to make informed decisions.

The cab is also equipped with an air conditioning unit, which keeps operators happy. This crane is also equipped with 2 cameras. One camera on the winch allows an operator to complete lifts more precisely and one camera on the back of the crane that allows for safety when reversing.
