Featured All Terrain: Terex Cranes
Aug 14 2015
Terex Corporation is an American manufacturer of a broad range of heavy equipment for a variety of industries. Terex operates 50 manufacturing facilities around the world and is growing, having recently agreed to a merger with Konecranes PLC, an industrial-crane maker based in Finland. The new company, Konecranes Terex PLC, is expected to debut in the first half of 2016.
Bigge is proud to offer the full range of Terex cranes for sale and rental. One example is the All Terrain Crane. Considered to be a hybrid between a Truck Crane and a Rough Terrain Crane, the All Terrain Crane is highly configurable, making it an excellent option for job sites that have picks requiring different capacities, lift ranges, and lift angles. All Terrain Cranes are mobile, able to travel on public roads and on rough terrain job sites. All Terrain Cranes are especially useful in tight quarters.

All Terrain Cranes are the perfect crane for a variety of projects from air condition unit installations to quick day jobs. We recently used an All Terrain Crane in downtown San Francisco. With 225,000 lbs. of counterweight and 140 foot of boom, we lifted a 22,000 lb. generator off the roof of a 40 story skyscraper. Not only did we have to deal with the tight San Francisco streets, but the extra challenge of two pedestrian bridges that cross over Washington Street.
In addition to these Terex All Terrain Cranes, we carry their whole line of excellent machinery including Hydraulic Truck Cranes, Tower Cranes, Crawler Cranes and more.
