Mar 9 2017
On March 7,2017 at ConExpo-Con/Agg, Bigge purchased 12 new Tadano GR-1200XL Rough Terrain cranes. During a “key ceremony” hosted by Tadano, Bigge took ownership of these 120 US ton capacity cranes. The Tadano GR-1200XL was designed with industrial energy sites in mind. The GR-1200XL has exceptional maneuverability, durability, and lifting performance under harsh conditions. The crane has a maximum lifting height of 184 ft. and a 144 ft. load radius. In addition, Tadano’s newly developed “Smart Chart System” allows outriggers to extend to a square-shaped rated load capacity footprint, with extended “corners” over the outriggers that increase the load radius depending on the degree to which the outriggers are extended.
Bigge is excited to add the Tadano GR-1200XL to out 90+ ton Rough Terrain rental fleet, currently the largest in the United States. We are also pleased to continue our strong partnership with Tadano and our ability to place quality cranes at the service of our clients. Read more about Bigge’s history with Tadano on our website.
