The 5-section boom of the RTC-80100 extends from 40’ to 150’. A lattice fly and two other optional extensions increases the maximum tip height to 243’. Two counterweights provide capacities up to 12 tons. Powering the RTC-80100 is a Detroit Diesel Series 40 engine rated at 300 horsepower. A 95-gallon fuel tank allows for the crane to keep working on the jobsite for extended periods of time. The maximum line pull of this powerhouse is 21,000 pounds and a 430 foot per maximum line pull allows or a speed of up to 18.5 miles per hour.
The cab of the RTC-80100 is constructed of ultra-strong galvanized steel and filled with acoustical lining. The steering system has four steering modes to allow the RTC-80100 to traverse any jobsite with ease. The suspension system uses Double “A” arms that are connected to oscillation cylinders to lockup.
