Broderson IC-250 CRANE SERIES LOAD CHART AND SPECIFICATION

The Alimak Scando 450 is a rack-and-pinion construction hoist designed for transporting personnel and materials on mid- and high-rise projects. Its modular design, low energy requirements, and proven durability make it a practical solution for construction firms and rental fleets alike.

Key Features

  • Modular Hoist Car Design
Available in lengths from 6 ft 7 in to 10 ft 6 in. Multiple ramp and door configurations are supported for flexible integration at ground and landing levels.
  • Dual or Single Car Setup
Configurable as a single or dual car system. The Scando 450 can also share a mast with Alimak’s MC 450 mast climbing work platforms or TPM transport platforms.
  • Efficient Operation
Frequency-controlled motor drive provides smooth acceleration and deceleration, reducing mechanical wear and improving ride quality. Low start current reduces power draw.
  • ALC-II Microprocessor Control System
Group control logic with internal fault diagnostics. The system optimizes car dispatching by selecting the nearest available hoist based on landing calls.
  • Durable Build for Long-Term Use
Features include hot-dip galvanized mast sections, perforated steel car cladding, and stainless steel electrical enclosures for weather and site resistance.
