GROVE RT9130E Crane Series Load Chart and Specifications 

The Grove RT9130E crane series is Grove’s largest capacity rough terrain cranes with a maximum lifting capacity of 130 tons. There are two models within the series — Grove RT9130E and Grove RT9130E‑2.

These cranes feature a full-power telescoping boom comprised of 5‑sections. With an outstanding reach of 160 feet, the utilization of lattice extensions adds an additional 59 feet.

The Grove RT9130E is the original model with a Tier 3 engine. Its rugged deep box section frame is designed to handle tough conditions and a host of other features that enhance its usefulness and flexibility at the job site.

The Grove RT9130E‑2 is Grove’s newer model that is currently in production and is equipped with MEGAFORM™ for fast and efficient operation on the job site. This crane is rigged with a quick-reeve boom nose and swing away alignment device to help operators set up smoothly.

The Grove RT9130E‑2 uses a load moment indicator and anti-two block system with graphic displays, audio-visual warning, and control lever lockout. It provides an electronic display of boom angle, length, radius, tip height, relative load moment, max. permissible laid load indication, and warning of impending two-block condition.

Noticeable changes in these two models are the Cummins QSL Tier 4 Final or Tier 3 diesel engine. The transmission is a full powershift with 6 forward and 6 reverse speeds. Front axle disconnect for 4 x 2 travel. To better handle any type of job, there are 4 main steering modes, front only, rear only, crab, and coordinated.

The operator has a full vision cab, all steel fabricated with acoustical lining and tinted safety glass throughout. The cab can tilt +20 degrees for a better range of vision. Deluxe seat incorporates armrest-mounted hydraulic single-axis controllers.
