Crawler Crane Information

Kobelco BME800G

Max. Cap 80 US Tons
Boom 180 ft
Jib 39 ft

The Kobelco BME800G is a hydraulic crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 72 metric tons (80 U.S. tons), a maximum crane boom length of 54.9m (180 ft.). Welded lattice construction using tubular, high-tensile steel chords with pin connections between sections make up the boom and jib.

The BME800G features a powerful HINO P11C-VC. The engine is a Turbocharged vertical inline 6 cylinder with fuel injection makes the engine reliable, durable and consume less fuel. The fuel tank holds 400 liters to ensure high efficiency and long working hours. The hydraulic system is composed of a 3 variable displacement piston pumps, and uses a full-flow hydraulic control system for infinitely variable pressure to all winches, propel, and swing.

Controls respond instantly to the touch, delivering smooth function operation. The BME800G comes with a front and rear hoist drum powered by a hydraulic variable plunger motors, driven through planetary reducers. The hoist system also comes standard with an external ratchet for locking the drum and positive brake operated through a counter-balance valve.

The BME800G is made for reliable operation, convenient maintenance, and easy transport. Crawler assemblies can be hydraulically extended for wide-track operation or retracted for transportation. The upper structure of the crane is a torsion-free precision machined upper frame. The cab is a totally enclosed, full-vision cab that has safety glass all around reducing the noise level of the engine. The auxiliary controls and instruments are mounted on the side console.

Optional inserts and sheaves are available as well. For specific lengths and lifting capacity of the booms and jibs please reference the crane chart. To find out more about the Kobelco BME800G, please contact us.
