Kobelco CKE1800-1F Crane Overview and Specifications

The Kobelco CKE1800-1F is a crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 163 metric tons (180 U.S. tons), a maximum crane boom length of 85.3m (279 ft.), a max fixed jib combination of: 73m (239 ft.) + 30m (98ft.), and a maximum luffing jib combination that is: 54m (177 ft.) + 51m (267 ft.). The boom and jib attachments consist of welded lattice construction using tubular, high-tensile steel chords with pin connections between sections. Optional inserts and extensions are available as well.

The CKE1800-1F features a high-power Hino P11C-UN diesel engine. The engine is water-cooled, with direct fuel injection, and comes with a turbocharger. The fuel tank holds 400 liters to ensure high efficiency and long working hours. The hydraulic system uses a four variable displacement piston pump which drives the heavy duty pump drive. The controls of the hydraulic system uses a full-flow hydraulic system for infinitely variable pressure to front and rear drums, boom hoist brakes and clutches. The touch-sensitive controls ensure smooth function while operating the crane.

The lower structure of the crane is composed of a steel-welded carbody with axles. The carbody weighs 20 tons. In addition the crane counterweight weighs 60 tons ensuring stability. The cab is a fully enclosed and insulated steel module with large safety glass windows.
