Liebherr LTM 1220-5.1 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Liebherr LTM 1220-5.1 is the original model of the Liebherr LTM 1220 all-terrain mobile crane. First introduced in 2004, this model was in Liebherr production for two years. It has 5-axles, a maximum lift capacity of 265 tons, and a maximum telescoping boom length of 197 feet, and a long-folding fly jib extension of 141 feet. Its active rear-axle steering offers a choice of six convenient steering settings.

The Liebherr LTM 1220-5.1 is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder Turbocharged engine, has a maximum speed of 50mph, and has a five-axle 10x8x10 drive configuration. This model has a Liccon-1 control system. This control system relieves the strain on the crane operator by automatically monitoring working range limits such as bridges, roofs, etc. It's also very simple to program and includes features like job planner that allows to plan and simulate crane jobs, and a test system.
