Zoomlion RT40

Max Cap 44 US Tons
Boom 32-102 ft

The Zoomlion RT40 is a rough terrain staple. With a maximum lift capacity of 44 US tons, the RT40 is powerful enough to get the job done, but small enough to maneuver around the jobsite with ease. Its maximum boom length is 102 feet while its maximum jib length is 49 feet.Part of the Zoomlion line exported for the U.S. market, these cranes were designed by U.S. engineers and made with world class parts from the best manufacturers in the world.

Key features include a formed boom made with high-yield steel which reduces the operating weight of the boom and maximizes performance. Based on preference and regional availability, axles are provided by Kessler or Axletech. Both manufacturers are leaders in the industry with years of experience in the crane business. Dana transmissions come standard in every Zoomlion rough terrain and provide the latest technology for the diverse needs of off-road cranes. The Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine is a TIER-III compliant beast with proven superior performance and durability. Finally, the PAT Hirschmann HC4900 LMI (load moment indicator) is the industry’s leading electronic monitoring system available.

Also standard is a three-position offsetting jib, and power steering with four independent modes: front-wheel, rear-wheel, all-wheel and crab. This crane also features a work light package which allows some equipment to be dismounted from the crane for less heavy jobs, increasing the cranes efficiency and maneuverability. Another feature of the Zoomlion RT40 is the full-vision operator cab which was designed for maximum comfort and ease of operation. It includes fully adjustable deluxe seat with tilt, foot controls for boom telescope, service brake and engine throttle, tilt steering, and air conditioning and heat throughout the cab. Both ANSI and CE certified, the total weight of the Zoomlion RT40 is 72,000 pounds.
