Zoomlion RT55 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Zoomlion RT55 is powerful without sacrificing maneuverability. It features a 34m (112 foot) main boom and a maximum jib length of 17m (56 foot), with a maximum tip height of 34.8 meters (114.2 feet). The lift capacity of the RT55 is 55 metric tons (65 U.S. tons). Part of the Zoomlion line exported for the U.S. market, these cranes were designed by U.S. engineers and made with world class parts from the best manufacturers in the world.

Key features include a formed boom made with high-yield steel which reduces the operating weight of the boom and maximizes performance. Kessler Co axles are standard on every model. Also standard is a Dana 13.5HR 32662 transmission which offers the latest technology for the diverse needs of off-road cranes. The Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine is TIER-III compliant beast with proven superior performance and durability. Finally, the PAT Hirschmann HC4900 LMI (load moment indicator) is the industry’s leading electronic monitoring system available.

Also standard are a three-position offsetting jib, and power steering with four independent modes: front-wheel, rear-wheel, all-wheel and crab. This crane also features a work light package which allows some equipment to be dismounted from the crane for less heavy jobs, increasing the cranes efficiency and maneuverability. Another feature of the Zoomlion RT55 is the full-vision operator cab which was designed for maximum comfort and ease of operation. It includes fully adjustable deluxe seat with tilt, foot controls for boom telescope, service brake and engine throttle, tilt steering, and air conditioning and heat throughout the cab. Both ANSI and CE certified, the total weight of the Zoomlion RT55 is 88,000 pounds.
