The Zoomlion RT65 is a 66 ton rough terrain crane. Its maximum boom length is 141.1 feet and its maximum jib length is 56 feet.
The RT65 is put together masterfully by Zoomlion, but the parts they receive from other manufacturers really put the crane at the top of its class. Kessler Co., a company with years of experience in the industry, provides axles for each RT65. The focus of Kessler’s axles is reliability, and reliability is imperative in the crane industry, as any failure could result in catastrophe. Zoomlion employs the Dana 13.5HR 32662 as the transmission for the RT65. Dana transmissions take advantage of the latest technologies available in the industry, and constantly push for a more reliable and efficient transmission. The engine in the RT65 is a Tier-III compliant Cummins QSB6.7. By using such a powerful motor, Zoomlion ensures that any job you throw at their cranes is easily completed.
The cab of the RT65 was designed with comfort, safety, and efficiency in mind. Full vision windows allow for the operator to be sure of every move. The acoustical lining used to insulate the cab provides a barrier from sound and allows the operator to pay attention to the job at hand. The cab also includes air conditioning, which keeps operators happy. The Load Moment Indicator allows for an operator to understand the status of his crane. He can see every piece of his crane and understand if his parts are all up to standard.
