Comansa LCL190-12t Crane Overview and Specifications

The Comansa LCL 190 12t is a free standing stationary luffing jib tower crane, the maximum freestanding height is 63.1 m (207 ft.). This tower crane has a maximum lift capacity of 12 metric tons (13.8 U.S. tons). The maximum jib length is 60 m (213.25 ft.), the lifting capacity while the jib is at maximum length is 1.5 metric tons (1.65 U.S. tons). At maximum length the jib is composed of 7 sections and while at its minimum length it uses 3 sections.

The LCL 190 12t comes equipped with a 50 kW hoist, unit but if needed there is a 65 kW option. Hoist and luffing cables are pre-installed with reevings from the factory. The hoisting mechanisms works with the EffiPlus system which uses a hydraulic push and retention system. The EffiPlus system makes moving and lifting materials operate smoothly without sudden stops. What makes the LCL series different from other tower cranes is that the hoisting mechanisms are placed in the front, near to the cabin, instead of mounted on the counter jib. This configuration helps reduce the slewing radius of the counter jib and increase free space for servicing the main mechanisms.

Comansa designed the LCL series to be easier to transport by creating a modular system which breaks down large components and making them lighter. Many of the parts are interchangeable with other Comansa tower models creating many configurations that work best for the job.
