Comansa LCL280-12t Crane Overview and Specifications

The Comansa LCL 280 – 12t is a luffing jib tower crane. Luffing jibs are ideal for using in urban areas where there is limited space. Due to its slow slewing movements and long overreach this crane is great for city environments. This tower crane has a maximum lift capacity of 12 metric tons (13.22 U.S. tons). The maximum jib length is 60 meters (213.25 ft.), and the lifting capacity while the jib is at maximum length is 2.9 metric tons (3.2 U.S. tons).

This crane is a free standing stationary crane with a maximum freestanding height of 53.2 m (174.54 ft.). There is an optional 8 meter base that can be used. The 8 meter base can be used interchangeably with other tower components from different models to increase tower height by 30%. The LCL 280 – 12t is equipped with a 50 kW hoist unit, with an optional 65 kW hoist. The luffing and hoisting cables come with preinstalled with reeving from the factory. Most of the crane components are built with a modular design making it easy to transport and reducing assembly/​disassembly time. When setting up the crane, an internal climbing unit or tie ins can be used.
