The Terex/​Comedil CBR 28 PLUS is a self-erecting tower crane, excellent for working in small spaces where movement is limited. Its small footprint and radius movement is great for a crowded environment. This tower crane has a maximum lift capacity of 2.5 metric tons (2.75 U.S. tons). The maximum jib length extends to is 27.8 m (91.2 ft.), and the lifting capacity while jib is at maximum length is .9 metric tons (.99 U.S. tons). The jib has three different configurations, and can be raised at 15°. The tower, jib and tie bars are all made of vanized steel.

The CBR 28 PLUS uses a hydraulic system to erect itself and unfold the jib, its motions are controlled by a frequency converter allowing for smooth movement. The crane setup is quick, due to the easy to use functions and automated systems. The Terex CBR 28 PLUS is easy to transport and perfect for the road. It can fit in one truck or in an open top container.
