Grove RT530DXL Crane Overview and Specifications
The Grove RT530DXL is a very capable rough-terrain hydraulic crane. It has a max lift capacity of 33 tons (30 t), a 90 ft. (27.4 m) main boom max length, and a max jib length of 43 ft. (13 m). It comes standard with a Turbocharged and water-cooled six-cylinder Cumminsings 6BT 5.9 diesel engine which produces up to 145 (108 kW). That can be replaced with a Turbocharged and water-cooled six-cylinder Caterpillar 3116 T diesel engine.
It has a load moment and anti-two block system that electronically displays information like boom radius, angle, length, relative load moment, tip height, maximum permissible load, and load indication. The RT530DXL’s frame is made from high-strength alloy steel, which is welded into a box-section design, and it comes with important outrigger housings, a built-in hook block, and headache ball stowage.
The Grove RT530DXL also features an acoustically-treated, vanized steel cab which is equipped with a comfortable operator’s seat, armrest-integrated crane controls, drive/steer control, and ergonomically designed controls.
For those looking to push this rough-terrain crane even further, there are several options available like: automatic steering control, an engine block heater, aluminum decking, cross axle differential locks, and, as mentioned earlier, upgrading to a Caterpillar 3116 DIT diesel engine.
