Kobelco CK1600 Crane series load chart and specification

The Kobelco CK1600 cranes series are crawler cranes that are designed with an innovative full hydraulic system. These crawler cranes perform all crane operations including load hoist, boom hoist, swing, propels and crawler extension/​extraction, free-fall (optional), as well as counterweight and crawler frame installation and removal.

There are three models within the series — The Kobelco CK1600, The Kobelco CK1600G, and The Kobelco CK1600G‑2.

The Kobelco CK1600 features a high-power 6‑cylinder Mitsubishi 6D24-TLA2K engine. It cranks out 332 HP/ 2,000 rpm with a fuel tank that holds 400 liters to ensure high efficiency and long working hours. The operator’s cab is totally enclosed from the weather with full vision safety glass all around. The adjustable, high-backed seat with armrest is standard, allowing operators to customize their position. Auxiliary controls and instruments are on a side-mounted console.

The Kobelco CK1600G/CK1600G-II is a lattice boom hydraulic crawler crane with a lift capacity of 160 US tons. It features a 250 ft crane boom, going up to 350 ft with the combination of a fixed jib. The crane also has an optional auxiliary sheave extendable on booms of 50 through 240 feet.

The CK1600G is powered by a Tier IV Hino P11VC 363 engine, with 1084ft‑s of torque. The​“G” is for G‑mode, Kobelco’s exclusive energy and fuel-saving system. The G‑Mode eliminates needless operations and engine functions, allowing for reduced fuel consumption, and saving up to 30% more fuel than competing cranes. This crane also features a patented diesel particulate filter (DPF) that significantly reduces the increased particulate matter and nitrous oxide making the CK1600G’s diesel engine one of the cleanest in the industry.
