Kobelco CK800-3 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Kobelco CK800 III is a hydraulic crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 72.5 metric tons (80 U.S. tons), a maximum crane boom length of 61m (200 ft.), and a fixed jib combination of: 54m (180 ft.) + 18m (60 ft.). The boom and jib attachments consist of welded lattice construction using tubular, high-tensile steel chords with pin connections between sections. Optional inserts and sheaves are available as well.

The CK800 III features a powerful Hino JO8E-TM series with a common rail fuel system diesel engine. The engine is a vertical inline 6 cylinder with a turbocharger. It cranks out 213 with a fuel tank that holds 400 liters to ensure high efficiency and long working hours. The motor is electrically controlled using a throttle twist grip type for easy operation and control.

The CK800 III comes equipped with two hoist drums with an optional third, standard with wet-type disk brake free-fall is mounted inside the drums. The brake system for the crane uses a hydraulically released spring set, with multiple-disc holding brakes mounted inside the motors. The brake is operated through a counterbalance valve and an external ratchet is fitted for locking the drum.

The CK800 III is made for reliable operation, convenient maintenance and easy transport. The enclosed, full-vision cab has safety glass all around. The auxiliary controls and instruments are mounted on the side console. All wiring is corded for easy serving, individual fused branch circuit.
