Kobelco CK850 CRANE Series LOAD CHART AND SPECIFICATIONS

The Kobelco CK850 series cranes are hydraulic crawler cranes with a max. lifting capacity of 85 U.S. tons, a max. crane boom length of 200 ft., and a fixed jib combination of 180 ft. + 60 ft.

There are three models within the CK850 series — Kobelco CK850G, Kobelco CK850‑2, and Kobelco CK850‑3.

The Kobelco CK850G comes with a telescopic boom that backstops with a spring bumper. The boom and jib attachments consist of welded lattice construction using tubular high-tensile steel chords with pin connections between sections. Optional inserts and sheaves are available as well. It features a high-power HINO J08E-UV series with a common rail fuel system diesel engine. The engine is a vertical inline 6 cylinder, water-cooled, direct fuel injection, and a turbocharger. It cranks out 285 HP with a fuel tank that holds 400 liters to ensure high efficiency and long working hours. The hydraulic system’s main pumps consist of 2 variable displacement piston pumps, which are controlled using a full-flow hydraulic control system for infinitely variable pressure to all winches, propel and swing. The controls respond instantly to the touch, delivering smooth function operation. This crawler crane features a front and rear drum for load hoist with a standard drum lock and negative brake.

In addition to the Kobelco CK850G, we offer the CK850G‑2, which features a new engine up to Tier IV standards. The crane has new energy-saving assist systems known as the ​“G‑modes,” which can achieve up to 30% savings in fuel consumption. The ​“G‑modes” include an auto idle-stop system, an energy-saving winch control system, and the engine RPM limitation system. Changes from the previous model include compact structure allowing for greatly improved transportability, larger cab design, LMI touch screen, counterweight detection device, improved counterweight self-installation mechanism, and newly improved control levers.

The last crane in the Kobelco 850 Series is the Kobelco CK850‑3. Like all Kobelco cranes, it is designed from the ground up for reliable operation, convenient maintenance, and easy transport. It compacts for transport at just over 11 feet, hydraulically expanding to work. The Kobelco CK850‑3 is fully hydraulic and excels in all crawler crane operations. Kobelco currently makes the CK850‑3, which improves on the prior model with new features and upgrades.
