Liebherr LTR 1060 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Liebherr LTR 1060 is an excellent telescopic crawler crane that’s excellent for projects where maneuverability is a necessary requirement. It has a maximum lift capacity of 66 tons (60 t), a main boom max length of 131 ft. (40 m), and a max jib length of 52.5 ft. (16 m). The Liebherr LTR1060 is powered by a water-cooled, four-cylinder Liebherr type D934L A6 diesel engine with a max output of 175 (129 kW) and a 119-galgallon (450 L) fuel tank.

The in-house manufactured frame is made from high-tensile, fine grain steel, and it has a connection element to the chassis which serves a single row ball bearing slewing ring that makes unlimited slewing possible.

That’s not all there is to like about this versatile telescopic crawler crane though. It comes standard with a 20-degree tiltable operator cab that is manufactured from fiber composite material. The cab also comes with a comfortable operator’s seat and ergonomically designed crane controls. The LTR1060 is equipped with a host of safety features that also make it one of the safest cranes in its class. These include: a LICCON 2 load limit indicator, hoist limit switches, a test system, and safety valves to prevent the ruptures of pipes and hoses.

For those looking to push this telescopic crane even further, available options include: track pads, a second hoist gear, an assembly jib, additional counterweights, and a swing-away jib.
