Link-Belt HTC-830 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Link-Belt HTC-830 is a hydraulic truck crane with a maximum lift weight of 30 tons, a maximum boom length of 80 feet and a maximum job length of 21 feet.

A six cylinder 210 Tier III engine provides the power to the Fuller Roadranger RT-6613, 13 speed transmission. Optional is an Alison MT-653DR 5 speed automatic transmission is an option. The HTC also comes in 2 possible variations, 6x4 drive and 6x6. Full air brakes are standard on both models.

The cab is isolated from sound and vibration by rubber mounts. It is covered in tinted and tempered glass, to keep the operator safe but also to allow them to be efficient. The HTC-830 also includes a six way adjustable seat so operators can be comfortable and focus on the job at hand.

The Load Moment Indicator is a step above the rest in the HTC-830. It has a warning system that makes sure operators don’t push the crane over the limit. The LMI also informs the operator the status of every part of the HTC-830. When the operator is informed of the status of his crane, he can make informed decisions and operate his crane to the best of his ability.

The HTC-830 also comes standard with access ladders. By adding access ladders to the crane, it allows for easy access to the cab. By allowing easy access, it limits a safety hazard of falling off of the crane.
