The Potain Hup 32 – 27 is a self-erecting tower crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 4.4 tons and a maximum lifting capacity at fully extended jib of 1.1 tons. The maximum jib length is 105 feet and the maximum hook height is 89 feet.

With 20 different configurations, the Potain Hup 32 – 27 is one of the most flexible tower cranes of all time. Potain’s slogan for the new Hup series is ​“Ultimate versatility. Maximum profits.”, a fitting slogan for a crane that can take the place of many other cranes needed on a jobsite. The 32 – 27 has the highest maximum reach in its class, is incredibly compact for easy transport, and fold and unfolds completely through the smart set up feature of the new remote control system.

The control system of the Hup 32 – 27 does more than just unfold the crane. The remote control with a full color display and jog dial screen navigation allows operation of the crane from the ground and comes standard with three different operation modes to cater to the needs of the job and the preferences of the operator. The system also comes standard with maintenance indicators, current radius indicators, and an integrated diagnostic system.

High performance lifting and slewing technologies provide incredibly high-speed lifting of maximum loads and better accuracy and responsiveness in crane movements. High-speed lifting is achieved through four falls reeving and is automatically adapted to the load.
