Shuttlelift 3339 Crane Overview and Specifications

Official Manufacturer Model Name: Shuttlelift 3339

The Shuttlelift 3339 is a hydraulic industrial carry deck crane. The compact size is ideal for tight and narrow spaces. Built tough and with its outrigger system, it is able to carry heavy loads where bulkier cranes wouldn’t fit.

The maximum lift capacity is 8.1 metric tons (9 US tons) on outriggers. The boom is hydraulically powered and is a 3 sectional boom, the max. reach is 10 m (32.10 ft). There are 2 optional boom extensions with this model, a 3.6 m (12 ft) offsettable extension or a 5.4 m (18 ft) telescopic offsettable extension.

The engine for the crane is a turbocharged Cummins QSB 3.3L diesel engine pushing 80 HP at 2,500 RPM. There is an optional dual fuel that uses gas and propane. It comes with a Clark powershift transmission. With 4 speeds forward and reverse, the operator can power shift at any engine speed in any gear. There are 3 driving modes that can be selected, 2 wheel steer, 4 wheel steer, and crab steer. A main winch is equipped with a crane, powered by a piston motor drive w/spring-applied/hydraulic release brake.

The hydraulic system allows the swing system to have 360 degrees continuous swing and gives the operator positive control. The outriggers of the crane have a one stage hydraulic telescoping box — front and rear. The lever controls are located on the dash panel which operates the beams in pairs from side to side.

Compact in size, the height of the 3339 is 2.41 m (7.3 ft) and the length is 5.49 m (18 ft). The cab is an open-air cab shell with overhead safety glass. For harsh weather conditions, the deck has an anti-skid surface. The display panel displays the hook load and warns the operator when a preset load capacity is exceeded. A rated capacity limiter (RCL) stops the telescope and boom lift down function when a load limit is exceeded. A simple, effective, and easy to use load indicating system is used in conjunction with the anti-two block system to assist the operator in efficient operation of the unit within the limits of the load chart.
