Tadano TR-6005XL-3 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Tadano TR-6005XL-3 is a top contender in the world of 60 ton rough terrain cranes. Its four section, 110 foot, full power boom is accompanied by a 56 ft. jib. It is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16-TLEA 247 engine.

The high tensile steel frame of the TR-6005XL-3 was built to withstand the rough conditions of any jobsite. By creating a strong cab, including shatter proof glass, Tadano takes an operator’s fear of structure failure away and allows for the operator to focus on the job at hand, knowing he is well protected.

Another safety feature an over-run alarm, alerting the operator if the engine is approaching its limits. This will give them either enough time to stop the crane so it won’t break or harm others, or to warn others to leave the area and exit the crane. The TR6005XL-3 also includes an AML-L system which helps an operator understand the current status of each part of his crane, allowing he or she to finish lifts safely and efficiently.

Additional safety features include a control lever lockout function that stops unqualified or unwanted users from operating the crane. It also provides a comfortable, yet efficient cab with increased vision for a safe lifts.
