Zoomlion QUY650 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Zoomlion QUY650 is a hydraulic crawler crane that features two operating modes, standard and Superlift. The crane has a maximum lifting capacity up to 650 metric tons (716 U.S. tons) in both modes. Its boom utilizes imported high-strength pipes and anchoring rods made with high-strength plates; all main structural components use high-strength steel to guarantee powerful lifting vehicle safety.

The length of the main boom is 84m (275 ft.) during standard and Superlift mode. However the light duty boom extends to 102m (334 ft.) in standard mode and in Superlift mode it reaches out to 138m (452 ft.). This Zoomlion crawler uses two jibs, the fixed jib extends to 36m (118 ft) and the luffing jib 84m (232ft). Both boom and jibs have optional additional adjustable sections.

The Zoomlion QUY650 features a high-power VOLVO electronic injection engine that provides strong power and is able to save energy, ensuring more environmentally friendly operations. A LEBUS multi-layer coiling drum are used to ensure that ropes are neatly coiled and do not become entangled; there is also an internalized reducer, ensuring minimal noise, high efficiency, long product life. The crawlers are controlled by various operating control handles, allowing for a variety of traveling actions and fast traveling speed; both the track shoes and thrust wheels made of alloy steel which allow the crane to drive up 30% grade terrain.

Concerning safety, there are numerous overturn protection devices to effectively prevent the boom from overturning. A sophisticated emergency operating system that can be started in case of failure of the PLC control system helps to ensure that all work can be completed.
