Broderson IC-200-2C Crane Overview and Specifications

Official Manufacturer Model Name: Broderson IC-200-2C

The Broderson IC-200 – 2C is a low profile and heavy-duty chassis carry deck crane, its compact size makes it great for maintenance projects in constrained environments and easy transport. This carry deck crane provides versatile operating maneuvers.

The maximum lift capacity is 30,000 lbs on outriggers, without the outriggers when centered the max self-loading capacity is 17,000 lbs. The main boom length is 36 ft/10.97 m and capable of 360° continuous rotation. The max. tip height is 51 ft/15.54 m (with boom extension). The boom can be a 3 section boom with a worm drive box for greater reliability.

The engine can be either EPA Tier 4 diesel engine or a V‑6 engine. It comes with a power-shift transmission. With 4 speeds forward and reverse, the operator can power shift at any engine speed in any gear. All shifting is done with a single lever electrical control mounted on the steering column. Equipped with a hydraulic-powered turret-mounted planetary gear system, it’s capable of low-speed power to lift heavy loads and a high-speed setting for faster cycle times when lifting lighter loads.

Compact in size, the height for the IC-200 – 2C is 7.11 ft/2.16 m and the width of 8 ft/2.43 m. The cabin is all-weather proof, with a heater and defroster, and the seat is adjustable for comfort. For safety features, it has a Rated Capacity Limiter that warns the operator of impending overload with audible and visual signals, and stopping boom functions in the event of overloads. There’s also a Drum Rotation Indicator which provides better awareness of boom rotation and position. To eliminate sudden load swings inherent in pivot mounted axles, a rubber-mounted axle/suspension removes the need for axle oscillation lockouts.
