Grove RT9130E-2 Crane Overview and Specifications

The Grove RT9130E‑2 by Manitowoc is a rough terrain hydraulic crane that provides strong lifting performance, along with quick and intuitive operation. Using MEGAFORM™ for fast and efficient operation on the job site. This crane is also rigged with a quick-reeve boom nose and swingaway alignment device to help operators set up smoothly. The outrigger system is comprised of four hydraulic telescoping single stage double box beam outriggers and integral holding valves.

The RT9130E‑2 has a maximum lifting capacity of 120 metric tons (132.27 US tons). It has a five-section full-power boom with max. boom length of 48.8 m (160 ft). There are two 8 m (26 ft) lattice boom inserts that provide a maximum tip height of 85 m (279 ft) when paired with the bi-fold swingaway for maximum reach.

Load moment and anti-two block system with graphic displays and audio-visual warning and control lever lockout. It provides an electronic display of boom angle, length, radius, tip height, relative load moment, max. Permissible laid, load indication, and warning of impending two-block condition.

For Powerful and reliable performance this crane has a Cummins QSL Tier 4 Final or Tier 3 diesel engine. The transmission is a full powershift with 6 forward and 6 reverse speeds. Front axle disconnect for 4 x 2 travel. To better handle any type of job, there are 4 main steering modes, front only, rear only, crab, and coordinated.

The outriggers are inverted outrigger jacks which protect the cylinder rod from sand, dust, oils and various elements you can find on a Jobsite and increases seal life. For easier and lighter transportation the outriggers are removable front and rear boxes. Including the removable counterweight and auxiliary hoist.

A full vision cab, all steel fabricated with acoustical lining and tinted safety glass throughout. The cab can tilt +20 degrees for a better range of vision. Deluxe seat incorporates armrest-mounted hydraulic single-axis controllers. The dash panel incorporates gauges for all engine functions.
