The Shuttlelift 5540F by Manitowoc is a hydraulic industrial carry deck crane. Great for construction jobs and cityscapes where spaces are tight. Its low profile and heavy build can maneuver and clear areas to get the job done for your project.

The maximum lift capacity is 13.6 metric tons (15 US tons) on outriggers. The boom is hydraulically powered and has a 3 & 4 sectional boom. The max. reach when using 3 sections is 11.4 m (37.5 ft) and when using 4 sections it can reach out to 14.8 m (48.75 ft). When using the extension, it can reach up to 19.4 m (63.75 ft).

The engine for the crane is a Cummins 4B3.3 diesel engine pushing 85 HP at 2,600 RPM. There is an optional dual fuel that uses gas and propane. It comes with a synchromesh transmission. With 4 speeds forward and reverse, the operator can power shift at any engine speed in any gear. There are 3 driving modes that can be selected, 2 wheel steer, 4 wheel steer, and crab steer. A main winch is equipped with a crane.

The hydraulic system allows the swing system to have 360 degrees continuous swing and gives the operator positive control. The outriggers of the crane have a one stage hydraulic telescoping box — front and rear.

Compact in size, the height of the 5540F is 2.43 m (7.11 ft) and the width is 2.41 m (7.11 ft). The cab is made of an all-steel structure with an adjustable operator’s seat. For harsh weather conditions, the deck has an anti-skid surface A wireless load indicator is standard with alarms and sensors notifying the operator of any issues.
